Alabama AG to Speak at Candelight Vigil in Dothan on Sunday

Annual Event Honors Passage of Victims of Crime Act.

MONTGOMERY, AL -- Alabama Atorney General Luther Strange will give brief remarks at the Southeast VOCAL chapter vigil for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Sunday's event will take place a 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Dothan.

District Attorney Doug Valeska of the 20th Judicial District for Houston and Henry Counties also will be at this event. The theme of the 2014 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is “30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice” and is in honor of achievements since the passage of the Victims of Crime Act in 1984.
