TAMPA, FL - Police say four people are in custody after one of them pulled a gun in front of three teens who were waiting at their school bus stop.
Investigators say the students from Armwood High School were waiting at their bus stop at around 7:15 a.m. when a pickup truck pulled up to them.
Inside were the four suspects, and one of them pulled out a gun. The truck then took off, but one of the students recognized one of the truck passengers. He called 9-1-1 and police responded to the area.
Police spotted the truck, but it then sped off and flipped over on its side before the officer had a chance to catch up to the vehicle. Police say they were not pursuing the truck when it flipped.
Two suspects were immediately taken into custody. The other two who ran from the scene were caught a short time later.
