Trooper Greg Eubanks, a spokesman for the department, said Tuesday that all four people resigned their positions.

Authorities said the four were accused of using fuel cards for personal
reasons.

The investigation is causing the department to review its policies about fuel cards to prevent any future misuse.

Eubanks said Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange and state district attorneys would decide whether charges are filed.

It is unknown what district the troopers were working in during the time
of the investigation.
