Troy Police have the three suspects in custody in connection with the Christmas Eve armed robbery at the Z-Tech convenience store on US Highway 231 in Troy according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.
Arrest warrants have been served on three black males in connection with the robbery. Craigory Njua Newsome-Baker, 18-years-old from Banks, Rashaun Thomas, 17-years-old from Troy and Zackary Shaquille Harris, 17-years-old from Troy have been charged with robbery first degree and their bonds set at $100,000.00 each.
Newsome-Baker and Thomas were taken into custody Friday and Harris turned himself in today at the Troy Police Department at approximately 3:00 PM.
Robbery first degree is a Class A felony. Juveniles 16-years-old or older charged with a Class A felony are charged in circuit court.
TPD responded to an armed robbery call at approximately 3:00 AM on Dec. 24.
A black male suspect entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk at gunpoint. An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery. No one was injured during the incident.
