Troy Police have arrested three white males in connection with two Tuesday burglaries in Troy according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.
The three are identified as Marvin W. Barnes Jr., 21-years-old, from Scottsboro, AL; Anthony S. Acker, 25-years- old, from Ft. Payne, AL and Daniel J. Marki, 27-years-old, from Hockley, TX.
The three allegedly burglarized C & K Nails and Fast Cash Title Exchange Tuesday morning. Fast Cash Title Exchange was burglarized at approximately 1:30 A.M. based on the closed circuit television camera from the business next door. The suspects were scene taking the safe from this business.
A subsequent investigation revealed the location of the safe in the parking lot next to AutoZone on McNeal Street.
The three were located in the Super 8 Motel where they were detained for investigation. They are employed by a Georgia cellular company working on cell phone towers.
They have been charged with six counts of burglary third degree (2 counts each) and their bonds have been set at $3,500.00 in each count.
They have been transferred to the Pike County Jail.
