2 Men Arrested with 96 Ecstasy Pills

Marianna--On October 22nd, 2011 at approximately 11:12pm, Officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a blue in color, Dodge Charger, for a tag violation.

Upon conducting the stop, officers made contact with the driver, Patrick Revel, and the passenger, Jeremy Godwin.

During the traffic stop, the Marianna Police Department’s Narcotics K9 was deployed on the vehicle.

With a positive alert from MPD’s K9, officers began a search of the vehicle.

While officers were searching the glove compartment of the vehicle, they located a clear plastic bag which was found to contain ninety-six MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets.

Officers arrested Revel and Godwin for Trafficking in MDMA(Ecstasy). Revel was also charged with using a driver’s license from another state while his Florida driver’s license was suspended.

Both subjects were transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
