2 Dothan Residents Arrested on Marijuana Trafficking Charges

DOTHAN, AL - On July 17, 2013 the Dothan Police Department’s Narcotics Division made a felony arrest following a recent trafficking investigation.

Investigators say they received information regarding a package containing an unknown amount of marijuana being shipped to a residence in Dothan, Alabama. The package containing the marijuana was located and delivered. Two subjects were arrested, but due to the sensitive nature of the case, no further information will be released.

• Kimberly Ann Smith, black female, 31 years of age, of West Inez Road was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking (Marijuana). A bond amount has been set at $1,000,000.

• Ricardo Alwayne Salmon, black male, 28 years of age, of West Inez Road was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking (Marijuana). A bond amount has been set at $1,000,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
