DOTHAN, AL - On July 15, 2013 the Dothan Police Department arrested Raymond Martin and Kiely Sutton after officers discovered items associated with manufacturing methamphetamine in their hotel room.
Investigators say patrol officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Martin for erratic driving in the parking-lot of the Best Value Inn. During the traffic stop, Martin was found to be in possession of the drug “Crystal Meth”. Through further investigation, the officers were advised Martin was staying at the Best Value Inn with his wife Kiely Sutton. Contact was made with Sutton at the room and while there, officers discovered materials used to make crystal meth.
Martin and Sutton’s arrest now bring this case to a close
• Raymond William Martin, white male, 44 years of age, of Barrington Road was arrested and charged with first degree manufacturing of Methamphetamine. A bond amount has been set at $60,000.
• Kiely Sutton, white female, 21 years of age, of Ross Clark Circle was arrested and charged with first degree manufacturing of Methamphetamine. A bond amount has been set at $60,000.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
