WALSENBURG, Colo. (AP) -- One of three fugitive siblings accused in a series of crimes across multiple states has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from their eventual capture in Colorado.
Twenty-nine-year-old Lee Grace Dougherty entered her plea Monday in Walsenburg. She and her two brothers were captured Aug. 10 after a chase and what authorities say was a shootout.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports that she is scheduled to go on trial Feb. 21.
The siblings from Florida face five counts each of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault, as well as other felony charges related to the chase.
Twenty-six-year-old Dylan Stanley-Dougherty and 21-year-old Ryan Edward Dougherty are scheduled to appear before a judge on Nov. 28.
