SELMA, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities say one person is dead and five others are injured following an early morning shooting at a nightclub in Selma.
Police Chief William Riley says gunfire broke out about 1:30 a.m. Friday at the Club Entourage after a security guard ejected two men from the bar.
Riley says the two men forced their way back inside the nightclub and began shooting indiscriminately. He says the security worker returned fire, killing one of the men and seriously injuring the other.
Four other patrons were injured.
Riley says police have issued a warrant for 21-year-old Rodney Aaron, the man who was seriously injured. Authorities haven't released the name of the dead man.
The police chief says the actions by the nightclub security guard probably saved other people from being hurt.
