Chipley, FL- Fifteen Washington County residents face a number of drug charges after the Washington County Drug Task Force busted them Sunday.
"We're trying to send the message that this is not the type of business that they need to be in," said Washington County Sheriff Bobby Haddock.
Haddock said one of the bigger arrests was Muaid Salah Jubran. Investigators said he was selling synthetic marijuana for weeks out of a Shell gas station in Chipley where he was the store manager.
"It (synthetic marijuana) is packaged and targeted to our youth, and we will have a zero tolerance when it comes to our youth," said Haddock.
Haddock told News 4 this undercover sweep wasn't just one of the largest. He said it's different from ones in the past, in that there were numerous different kinds of drugs seized.
"You have a mix of methamphetamines in some cases, people selling meth. Also a mix of selling loritabs or prescription drugs," said Haddock.
Two suspects involved in the sweep were still on the run Tuesday. Prince Douglas is wanted for selling marijuana and Sunni Meredith for selling hydrocodone.
The Sheriff considered the operation a success, but said he doesn't enjoy having to do it in the first place.
"We wish we didn't have this problem, but if we don't stay on top of it and fight the battle, everything else would get out of hand," said Haddock.
