(Dothan, AL)--The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is handling the murder case of a Blakely man.

Tuesday night, Police found 43-year-old Tracy Blocker shot to death in his home on East Boulevard.

“The neighbors heard two gunshots, so I rushed to my brother’s house as quickly as possible, but he was already dead by the time I got here” the victim’s brother, Andrew Blocker said.

Neighbors called the Blakely Police Department after hearing the gunshots. A relative discovered his body and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police haven’t identified the shooters, but believe two men are involved.

“I have faith in investigators and I feel they will be able to catch whoever did this,” Andrew Blocker said.

Police said Blocker had a criminal past, but are unsure if it is related to this case. His family is hoping police will catch those responsible for the shooting and soon.

Blocker’s Daughter, Tenica Williams said. “We hope they will get the punishment that they deserve under the law and under God.”

Blocker leaves behind a wide and six children. His body has been sent for an autopsy for an official cause of death.
