JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Eleven people were injured when
gunfire erupted during a block party near downtown Jacksonville.
The shooting started about 8:45 p.m. Sunday at J.S. Johnson Park
in the city's Brooklyn neighborhood. Jacksonville Sheriff John
Rutherford says a pregnant woman lost her baby and another pregnant woman was injured in the shooting.
Rutherford says victims were taken to three hospitals, but he
didn't know their conditions.
The Florida Times-Union reported at least 100 people were at the party, where DJs were playing music and people were dancing when the gunfire started.
The sheriff says there were multiple shooters firing at each
other. None of the shooters had been arrested late Sunday.
