Warhawks Battalion Sets Its Sights on National Competition

Updated: 04/08/2014 - Daleville High's JROTC took two rifle teams to the 2014 Civilian Marksmanship Program Air Rifle Regional Championships. Only the top teams from schools, clubs and organizations all over the nation were invited to compete in three different regional competitions in New Mexico, Alabama and Ohio. Daleville High's teams competed at Camp Perry, Ohio. They earned the fifth and seventh spots along with $1,000 for their school. Cadet Christofer Burns placed third overall while Anne Hinson took ninth place out of 88 sporter class shooters.
