Local Scouts Sharpen their Shooting Skills

Updated: 12/31/2013 - A group of local boy scouts spent the day learning to shoot rifles, shot guns, muzzleloaders, as well as shoot bows and arrows during a winter shooting camp on Monday. They said it's important to learn how to properly handle a firearm. Gun safety instructors and scout instructors assisted the boys and girls with their firearms to teach them how to properly load it, turn off the safety and shoot.
