Clayhatchee and Daleville First Responders Team Up for Fire Rescue Training

Updated: 03/18/2014 - Fire rescue crews from the Clayhatchee Volunteer Fire Department and the Daleville Department of Public Safety joined their members to perform a search and rescue simulation on Tuesday at Daleville High School. In black out conditions, their task was to enter what would be a burning room. With a partner they crawled on the ground, using only their hands and talking to their partner to guide each other. The challenge was to find a hidden dummy which represented a child.
