Federal prosecutors today filed their objections to motions made to the court to continue the trial dates for several of the defendants in the US v McGregor case.
They also suggested in their response to the motion that they would be opposed to separating the trials, as Milton McGregor and Harri Anne Smith along with two others have asked.
Earlier, defendants in the US v McGregor et al trial made a motion to have the jury pool drawn from all of the Middle District in Alabama instead of drawing from a pool of the northern part of the middle district, which has been customary for this court.
