Wreaths Across America Ceremony

On Saturday, December 14, Sunset Memorial Park will honor the nation’s fallen heroes during the Wreaths Across America™ ceremony at 11 AM CST.

The wreath laying ceremony is part of a nationwide recognition program.

The mission of Wreaths Across America™ is to have a wreath displayed on the grave
of every veteran throughout the country.

Sunset Memorial Park has the same to goal is to honor all the graves of fallen veterans in the Wiregrass with an evergreen wreath.

This is the fourth annual Wreaths Across America™ ceremony co-sponsored by Sunset.

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to participate in the wreath laying ceremony by assisting in placing a wreath on a veteran’s grave.

The speakers for this year’s event are Col. Shawn Prickett from Fort Rucker and Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz.

Light refreshments will be provided, and in case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the chapel of the funeral home.
