A new license plate is helping wounded veterans go hunting.
Houston County resident, Mark Pool, designed this specialty plate.
It's part of the "Whitetail Warriors" project.
The tag has a deer on it and the words "Whitetail Warrior."
The plates cost $50, with $43 going toward special golf carts for wounded veterans to go hunting.
Pool says he wants to give back to those who have done so much for our county.
"Oh my gosh, that is the reason we are here today doing this instead of having a bomb blow up out in from of us they just defended us and we just need to take care of them," said Pool.
The plates can be bought at any courthouse in Alabama.
