Saturday around 2:45P.M., Van's package store was robbed by a black male covered from head to toe.

The suspect held a gun in the cashier's face and demanded money.

He forced her to the ground and fled the scene in a silver car.

Linda Lanier, the cashier, was alone in the store at the time.

"I've often wondered how it would feel if I got robbed because I have been doing this kind of stuff for years and years and I have been lucky. But I understand how people feel. I didn't all of these years, but now I do, " says Linda Lanier.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

Van's package store will remain open for regular business.
