HOMEWOOD, Ala. (AP) -- Virginia College in Homewood has more security patrolling the campus because someone has been firing
paintballs at the doors and windows of the cosmetology program.

Reports say Campus President Chris Moore, says that someone fires the paintballs and then speeds away. He said it might be intended as a joke, but college is taking it seriously.

Cosmetology student Timothy Murphy said it has happened three times over the last two weeks. He said it is scaring students because the paintball gun sounds like it is firing real bullets.
