The man accused of raping two Troy women has yet to have a preliminary hearing.
Andre Ellis is charged with two counts of first-degree rape and one count second degree burglary.
He was arrested last Wednesday in connection with two sexual assaults at Hunter's Mountain Mobile Home Park.
So far Ellis' attorney has not requested a preliminary hearing yet, but there is a limited window.
Officials say they expect a request sometime in May.
Once the hearing is set, the next step would be to send the case to the grand jury.
That would happen in July.
It would be up to the grand jury to decide if there's enough evidence in the case to indict Ellis.
