Shortly after 11 o'clock this morning, a tornado was reported in Western Geneva County.
The twister was reportedly moving northeast.
Over a short period of time, it made touch downs off state highway 27 south of Chancellor and off Tom Fain road in the Providence community.
It destroyed about a half dozen chicken houses and blew apart several Barnes and utility lines.
