Too Much Water for Water World

DOTHAN -- All the rainy days this summer have hurt business for those working at pool facilities.

In July alone, there were 25 days that Water World either closed early or didn't open at all.

This is really dampening the paychecks of those who depend on the sun to fill their pockets.

"My income is very important to my family because I pay for my gas and I pay for everything I do," Lifeguard Carly Martin said.

Some pools in the Wiregrass have extended their hours in hopes of making more money. Water World will stay open through Labor Day.
