The Dale County Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged three area men with theft after they allegedly stole two four-wheelers and miscellaneous tools from a Marley Mill Community home.
William Crumbley, 20, of Ozark, Daniel Babcock, 18, of Ariton, and Jonathan Lee, 31, of Ozark were arrested on May 10 following an Ozark Police traffic stop.
According to a press release from the Dale County Sheriff's Office, a Marley Mill Community resident reported two four-wheelers and tools missing from his farm. A few hours later, Ozark Police Officer observed two four-wheelers traveling in the roadway on County Road 221 in the Northern section of Ozark.
As the Ozark Police Department officer conducted the traffic stop on the four-wheelers an alert Deputy overheard the radio traffic and responded to the area.
A further investigation proved that the four-wheelers were the ones stolen from the Marley Mill Community residence.
All three men were arrested and charged with first degree theft of property. Bond for Crumbley and Babcock was set at $5,000. Bond was revoked for Lee because during the time of arrest he was out on bond from an recent arrest for Electronic Solicitation of a Child out of the Dale County.
