BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Birmingham, is hosting a job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex.
More than 100 employers, including the City of Birmingham, Cox Media, Alabama Power, Best Buy, Regions Bank, AT&T, Drummond and Vulcan Industries, are expected to attend. The fair will be held in the BJCC's East Exhibition Hall.
At 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the fair will also feature a series of three workshops about career development, entrepreneurship and workforce development.
