TROY-- High school teachers will be coming to Troy University for a history lesson. The Vietnam War is a big part of the state's high school history curriculum. That's why the university and the Alabama Humanities Foundation are hosting a summer institute for teachers on the war. The goal is to help educators better teach students about the history and culture of Vietnam. Sessions will be held from 8:45 a-m until 4 p-m. They'll be in the civic room on the second floor of the Trojan Dining Facility at Troy University.12 to 14 teachers are expected to attend.
