Taking the "Presidential Town Hall Meeting" to the Streets of Dothan

Presidential debates happen every election season, but rarely does the voter get a chance to ask a candidate a question.

So we decided to take the presidential town hall meeting to the streets of Dothan, giving voters the opportunity to tell us what they would ask President Obama or governor Mitt Romney, and everyone had plenty to say.

"Oh there's lots of questions, look at the last four years, look at the last four years, there's no change," says voter Clay Sellers.

"I would ask candidate Romney, why is he focusing on something that is insignificant?," voter Rev. Willie Duncan

And most of the questions from voters in Dothan were extremely personal.

“I would ask the presidential candidate and Mr. Obama can you please tell the seniors of this country what you're going to do to ensure our retirement?," says voter Lynn Thomas.

Some chose to think hard about what they would ask

"Hmmm, wow that's a good question, how sincere they are with their beliefs that would be my question to the presidential candidates," says voter Clay Sellers.

But most voters are ready for it to all be over.

"Once the election is over and the results are in, November 6th, what would they do on January 20th as their first course of action turning the corner towards governing," says voter Don McCleod

"I’m glad it's only until November, so I think we've had enough," says voter Lynn Thomas.

Although you might not get your chance to ask a candidate a question personally during a debate, you will have your voice heard come November Sixth.

What would you ask the Presidential Candidates during a debate? Be sure to leave your question below.
