Shop in the Circle City on Sunday and you won’t be able to buy alcohol.
But that could be changing soon.
A bill passed Thursday in the Alabama senate, stating alcohol could be sold on Sunday if the voters approve it in August.
Some say they don't understand what the big deal is, since alcohol has been sold in restaurants since 2009.
Others say Sunday just isn't the day.
The bill is now headed to the Governor for signature.
If this law passes, you would be able to buy alcohol after one on Sunday afternoons.
