Students Turn Craft to Profit for Local Organization

For an hour and a half each day 6 students constructed dog houses complete with a shingle roof and even a porch.

The houses are being donated to the Wiregrass Spay and Neuter Alliance for their spring auction.

“All this work was done by students and they just had a ball with it and in my opinion did a very good job. Whoever ends up with these houses will probably have one that lasts 15-20 years,” said Robert Leverette, Carpentry teacher at Dothan Technology Center.

The houses will be auctioned off sometime in January.
