If you have been driving on Headland Avenue recently, you may have noticed a new restaurant.
It’s called the southern bistro...and the owner says he is hoping to make a mark in this town, with his food.
The restaurant’s owner says he has been planning to open it for over a year.
He saw the open space and knew it would be the perfect place for his restaurant.
But he got help with the idea of the restaurant from a family member.
"I wanted to have it because it’s something my grandma always wanted. It was a little difficult back then so I decided to pick up her spirit and continue on." Southern Bistro Owner Eric Rogers said.
He says he is so excited his plan a year ago turned into a reality.
