OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -- Memphis-based Southern Airways Express has announced it will begin flights to and from Destin and Panama City in Florida June 20, and then add flights to and from New Orleans by the end of June out of the University Oxford Airport.
Stan Little, Southern Airways CEO, says that the airline will fly the Cessna 208, which can seat nine people.
Southern Airways officials say flight prices will range from $249 to as low as $18 for the Sunday night red eye starting June 30.
Little says the airline's current flight network includes Memphis as well as Birmingham and Gulf Shores in Alabama.
Little says the airline also plans special flights for football fans to come into Oxford for games and fly out to games.
