Your smart phone could help prevent you from becoming a victim of sexual assault.

The free app is called “Guardly”.

With one tap it can send an alert for help if you're in a dangerous situation.
It uses GPS to locate you and can contact police or safety contacts like friends or family.

For those going back to a college campus, it can connect you with campus police if you set off an emergency alert.
