Slocomb Fire Fighters and EMS Get New Building

Firefighters and e-m-s workers in Slocomb have a new place to call home.

Previously, volunteers were split between two buildings.
The limited space made it difficult for firefighters to get ready quickly.
The chief says, that’s no longer a problem.

"We work so hard to have any kind of facilities. This is more than I ever imagined. And I’m really so proud of it I really don’t know I’m kind of speechless.” EMS director and fire chief Ronnie smith

The community pitched in by donating furniture.
