A line of thunderstorms has the potential to bring pea-sized hail, winds up to 40 miles per hour, and heavy rain to Troy and other parts of Pike County.
At 12:29am Central Time, the National Weather Service was closely watching storms that stretched from Boot Hill to Blue Springs State Park. These storms were moving westward at 20 miles per hour.
Locations in or near the path of these storms include Troy, Brundidge, Doster, Banks, and Antioch.
Forecasters out of the Weather Service office in Birmingham do note that "these storms may intensify."
