Shots are fired after a reported verbal altercation in a Midland City trailer park.
Four different law enforcement agencies responded to Park West Mobile Home Park at about 3:30 Tuesday afternoon after reports of a shooting.
Dale County Sheriff’s deputies have been on the scene looking for the gunman who reportedly fired four shots into a residence while the residents, including two small children, were inside.
Neighbors say, two men were arguing about driving over the speed limit through the park. They say one man pulled a gun and by-standers scattered.
After several minutes the other man involved returned. Witnesses say he fired into the mobile home. No one was injured.
Neighbors reported seeing the suspect ran into the woods behind the mobile home park immediately after the shooting.
As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect is still at large.
