DOTHAN POST — The Alabama Department of Public Safety’s investigative division, the Alabama Bureau of Investigation, is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Crenshaw County on Wednesday, Jan.1 at 4:20 a.m.
Taylor Stricklin Driggers, 19, of Brantley, has been arrested and charged with Manslaughter in the shooting death of Kristen Danielle Fuller, 18, of Luverne.
Driggers is currently being held in the Crenshaw County Jail with no bond.
The ABI’s investigation was at the request of the Crenshaw County Sheriff and District Attorney’s office. No details will be released as the investigation is ongoing.
LUVERNE, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities say a Troy University student has been shot to death in Crenshaw County.
Crenshaw County District Attorney Charlotte Tesmer said authorities took a 19-year-old suspect into custody after the Wednesday shooting of 18-year-old Kristin Danielle Fuller.
Tesmer tells WAKA-TV (http://bit.ly/1dW6J2Y) that the shooting happened early Wednesday morning just off Highway 29, near Luverne.
