A line of thunderstorms with a history of knocking down limbs and producing strong winds continues to move through the parts of the area.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has detected a line of storms capable of producing winds up to or possibly in excess of 60 miles per hour.
These storms were extending from New Brockton to north of Geneva and moving in a westerly direction at 60 miles per hour.
Other locations in the path of the storm include Samson and Elba.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service in Tallahassee say that "this is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path, prepare immediately. People outside should move inside a strong building, but away from windows."
