Service Day Rained Out

One local business takes one day out of the year to give back to community.

Friday they planned to volunteer at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens.

Unfortunately rain had other plans.

The Wiregrass Clectric Co-operative has a service day each year and they had a full day of activities planned.

They were going to paint the gazebo and columns, fix the walking trail and and work on the greenhouse.

Chief Operating Officer, Brad Kimbro, says it is important to give back to non-profits.

The botanical gardens is looking for volunteers to work on the gardens.
