A local group is offering free self-protection classes to help you fight off any would-be attackers.
The classes are a part of Wolfpack MMA’s combative course.
Each participant learns a mixture of martial arts including kick-boxing and ju-jitsu.
The class is open to women 13 and over.
"It's going to be someone larger than you attacking you, we're teaching you how to get away from that person by hurting them real fast and running,” said Steve Baxley, Owner of Wolfpack MMA.
The next class is Saturday, December 11th at 11:00am.
Baxley says space is limited, so call in advance and reserve your spot.
They can be reached at (334) 677-2002.
