The Headland Farmers Market always has a lot to offer; peaches, boiled peanuts, even snow cones.
But today, some people got an extra special treat.
Visitors, kids, even elected officials were having a seed spitting contest.
There was even a tape measurer to see who can spit the farthest.
Participants also got to be in a watermelon eating contest. All the winners took home trophies.
