Troy Police are investigating a second reported rape that occurred at a local mobile home park on Monday night.
The victim told police she had been attacked by a man at her residence in Hunter’s Mountain Mobile Home Park between 7:30 and 8 p.m. Monday.
It is the second reported sexual assault to have taken place at Hunter’s Mountain on Monday. Police have not released a description of the attacked in this incident.
Police were notified about 11:30 p.m. Monday that a Troy University student had been sexually assaulted during a burglary at her residence in Hunter’s Mountain.
The woman told police the attack occurred around 3:30 p.m. that day and she identified her attacker as a black man between 40 and 50 years old.
She described him as about 6 feet tall with a low haircut, weighing about 250 pounds.
The man was wearing a black or dark blue shirt and loose-fitting black or blue jeans.
The City of Troy has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the crime.
