Cottondale-- The search for the man whose parents were murdered in their Cottondale home Wednesday continues.
Right now investigators are only calling Wade Williams a person of interest. But at the same time, they say he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
A major effort to find 35-year-old Wade Williams has resulted in many leads but so far no Williams.
Jackson County Sheriff, Lou Roberts, says as of Sunday, the last reported sighting of Williams was in Abbeville, Alabama. Although the description seems to match Williams, authorities are not even 100% sure it was him.
Roberts says they still have a strong law enforcement presence in Holmes County as the search continues. Local, state and federal law enforcement officers from the surrounding areas are helping as well as a wealth of information from the public.
Sheriff Roberts says they've obtained a warrant on Williams for grand theft of his parents' car.
Roberts says the public's help is playing a huge role in the search so if you have absolutely any information on wade Williams, please call your local law enforcement agency.
The funeral for former Cottondale Mayor Bruce Williams and his wife Sharon is scheduled for Monday.
