The Salvation Army said thank you today to its volunteers.
The organization celebrated 101years of service to the Wiregrass area.
Hundreds of volunteers reach out to those who need food, clothing and financial help.
Officers say without those volunteers the organization couldn't serve the needy.
"We all like a little pat on the pat sometimes and we do it not so much because they demand it but we appreciate all that they do for us and i was just saying recently, many hands make a job a lot lighter, " said Major Jack Vaughan, Corps Officer.
