MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Business leaders, local government officials and economic developers are to meet with Alabama Gov. Bob Riley to discuss work force development and training.
Riley will host the meeting at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the RSA Activity Center in downtown Montgomery.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss work force development and training achievements during Riley's two terms in office. Riley will leave the governor's office when his second term ends in January.
Speaking at the program will be Bill Taylor. He is president of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama and former president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz U.S. International. Other speakers include Ozark Mayor Billy Blackwell, Bullock County Hospital CEO Jacques Jerry and Thomasville Mayor Sheldon Day.
