Dothan, AL - Members of the Kiwanis Club of Dothan are counting their profits from the Family 4th Celebration.
Unfortunately, numbers were down this year.
Leaders say the amount of pre-sale tickets sold were already lower than last years.
Also, rain in and around Dothan may have kept some from going out there.
Leaders say they expect to have raised about $10,000.
“Kids came out and had a ball. We had people that enjoyed the vendors and the crafts that were available. We had some great music. I'm sorry people thought it was raining, because a lot of folks missed a good time,” said Susan Holmes, Kiwanis Club of Dothan President.
All of the money raised goes towards children's charities in the Wiregrass.
