The work week got off to a wet start on Monday as a cold front brought some showers into the area on Monday.
Thankfully, this front didn't bring any severe weather to our area, but the rain did get a bit heavy at times.
Thankfully, there was no flooding issue either, as the Troy Airport only saw just a bit over a tenth of an inch of rain. Dothan got even less: only 0.03" inch of rain fell in the Circle City.
But, after the rain came the colder air and it came in fast. Here are a couple of examples: at the Dothan airport just before 11 a.m., it was a mild 68 degrees, just three hours later it had dropped to 57, and by 5 p.m., it was in the forties!
