Prices at the pump continue to creep up in Alabama.
A gas prices website says the average price of a gallon of gas is up about 5 cents from last week and about 16 cents from this time last year.
And it's not just Alabama... States across the country are reporting higher fuel prices.
Petroleum analysts say the increase is the result of the Federal Reserve injecting 600 billion dollars into the U.S. economy.
They say that move is causing the U.S. dollar to lose value and in turn, is forcing oil and gasoline prices up.
