OZARK, AL-- If you are over the age of 65 and live in Dale County, there may be money waiting for you.
With new legislation passed last month, seniors could be eligible for a property tax exemption.
There was already the state property tax exemption, but this new law will cover county property tax.
The revenue commissioner asks that seniors stop by the property tax office in the Dale County courthouse with their 2011 tax form to see if they qualify.
