FORT RUCKER -- It is an idea that came to fruition recently. The model for the expansion of the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker provides visitors a look at what they might see if this new wing is built.
The museum is just an idea for now until they can raise the large amounts of money needed to build.
The museum expansion would showcase different helicopter models that led to the aircraft used by the military. The current museum allows visitors to see helicopters that had a job for the army, those waiting for this future exhibit will show the steps and models leading up to them.
